Located on the south side of one of the largest urban parks in Canada, with 2200 acres of woods, lakes, hiking paths, bike trails, and even an 18-hole golf course. There are 184 camp sites for every type of camper from pull-throughs for large rigs to private semi-wooded sites for smaller trailers and tents. Starting in summer 2020, campers can also book two new rustic cabins.

A short walk to beautiful Lily Lake with its supervised swimming beach, rental boats, Lily’s Lakeside restaurant, and the Hatheway Labour Exhibit. Campers can enjoy a leisurely walk around the lake, take their canine companions to the Bark Park, or stroll to the nearby Public Gardens. Less than a 5-minute drive from uptown Saint John, Canada’s oldest incorporated city, with its many shops, picturesque harbour, and busy entertainment and night life scene. The Campground is also the perfect place to stay for trips to the Fundy Trail Parkway.

Rockwood Park Campground is located just off Highway 1. When coming from the west take Exit 123 and from the East Exit 125, and follow the signs for Rockwood Park. Privately operated by Saint John Horticultural Association.
