Explore the Open Road: RV’ing in the Saint John Region

June 01, 2026

The Saint John region mixes coastal cliffs, the world's highest tides, quiet nature, and uptown historic charm near Canada's oldest farmers' market. RVers can pick waterfront campgrounds, forest retreats, or city bases with easy access to restaurants, bars, and boutiques, plus adventures like sea caves, dark skies, Fundy Trail Provincial Park’s 30 km coastal drive in Fundy St. Martins, and New River Beach Provincial Park's sandy tidal shores.

Starting in Saint John, Rockwood Park Campground sits within Rockwood Park, one of Canada's largest urban parks, only 3 km from uptown. It offers 189 sites with full/partial service and tents. Enjoy trails, showers, laundry, WiFi, swimming, and an on-site restaurant, plus the Inside Out Nature Center for outdoor adventure equipment rentals.

Further west on the Bay of Fundy, you’ll find New River Beach Provincial Park, which offers 99 forested RV sites with serviced/unserviced options, pull-throughs, 30-amp hookups, and tidal beach access for kayaking and coastal walks. A little farther north in our region, Evandale Resort & Marina offers 40 quiet, unserviced sites nestled in lush surroundings with river views, just steps from the water and resort amenities like the pool and dining.

In Grand Bay-Westfield, you’ll find Robin Hood Lake Adventures, which offers seasonal RV sites on private waterfront lots with wharfs, decks, and a 29’ Vantage travel trailer rental option, including the exclusive Boardwalk site with sandy beach access and sunset views.

Along the Saint John River on the Kingston Peninsula, Harding’s Point Campground offers relaxed family sites with seasonal/overnight options, river views, boating, swimming, and nearby trails. Nearby, Crystal Beach provides spacious serviced lots for peaceful beach walks and some of the region’s most stunning sunsets.

Hampton Recreation is a comfortable, family-friendly campground in Hampton, offering serviced, partial, and unserviced sites along with on-site recreation like a pool, mini golf, driving range, rec centre, and playground. It’s also adjacent to the popular Hampton Brewing Company, a local nano-brewery known for craft beers, live music, and community events.

You’ll find a handful of options in the Fundy. St. Martin’s region, all with close proximity to sea caves and Fundy Trail Provincial Park. Fundy Woods Campground provides wooded full/partial-service RV sites, tenting, cottages, and bunkies overlooking the Bay of Fundy in St. Martins. Seaside Campground delivers family fun with beachfront sites, a large pool, and mini-golf. Century Farm Campground offers beachfront RV sites, rustic cabins, and rentals. Both boast stunning tidal views conveniently located on Main Street.

Other platforms, such as Harvest Hosts, Hipcamp, Terego, connect RVers with unique overnight stays at farms, wineries, breweries, and other small businesses. Another option would be RV Parky, an online directory and app that helps RVers find and review RV parks, campgrounds, and RV‑friendly stops. Our region is home to a few hosts, including Yip Cider, offering affordable camping with easy access to local experiences.

No RV? Rent easily from Outdoorsy by price, size, or pet-friendly options, or head over to Leisure Time RV in Quispamsis for convenient rentals perfect for exploring the region’s campgrounds.

Whether you're parking by urban trails or tidal beaches, the Saint John region offers endless RV adventures featuring epic tides, coastal wonders, and local flavors, plus plenty of welcoming spots to unwind along the way.
